Firstly on behalf of everyone here at Dezine Management: Home of Hgh Plus, I wish you the healthiest and happiest Thanksgiving. I would also like to take a moment to thank everyone for making this, our 13th year in business one of our most successful. We are deeply grateful to all of you.
This is the week that nutrition oriented sites usually go crazy with advice on how to “survive” the holiday. Avoid this. Reduce this. Have tofu instead of . . . .
Normally, I am on board. If you eat in a healthy fashion 85-90% of the time, it is days like this that you can thoroughly enjoy yourself in a guilt-free fashion. It is meant to be a feast, a time of happiness with family and friends. So enjoy!
Just remember a couple of reminders:
- Eat when you are hungry AND when you are happy. (Note the use of the word “AND.”) Don’t just eat because it is available or you feel sad and wish to change your chemistry with pumpkin pie. It is a physiological principle that hormonal release occurs in healthy, beneficial way when a person consumes food in a happy mood. More and more research is showing this in detail. Work on your mood and timing here and most of all, this is a day to enjoy.
- Be grateful. It is easy to find things to complain about. It is tough these days for many. Today – at least one day – is the day to find the things to be appreciative about. Living in America, we have it so good compared to virtually all other places. We have freedom, abundance and opportunity as well as our family and dear friends. Today is the day to recognize these gifts.
- Take digestive enzymes. This is a big one. Ever notice that many people get sick shortly after or during the holidays? Pharmaceutical marketing people call it “the flu season.” In actuality it is problems stemming from undigested food, causing a weakening of the digestive and lymphatic systems, particularly the spleen. This organ is one of the major components of the immune system. By adding digestive enzymes at the end of meals, it will assist the body in processing foods, extracting the nutrition and eliminating that which is not useful.
A couple of simple steps is all it takes to have the best Thanksgiving ever!
